Rainham Physiotherapy Centre was established in 1991 by Mr Javed Mughal, a Chartered & HPC registered Physiotherapist who specialises in the treatment of neck, back and sports injuries. The Centre is an accredited Centre and in December 2002 achieved Investors in People. The Centre is recognised by all major insurance companies and in 2008 went on to achieve Bupa recognition. Over the years, the Centre has expanded to offer specialities including Acupuncture, Pilates, Massage and a specialist service in Back and Neck pain. The Centre has both male and female practitioners and offers a professional and comprehensive service to patients from all backgrounds ranging from the layman to the professional sportsman and all ages from the young to the elderly. It is an evidence based Centre and takes pride in offering the highest standards of care administered in a comfortable, relaxing but professional environment. All staff are fully qualified in their specific specialities and regularly attend courses for Continuous Professional Development. Javed Mughal Javed has vast experience specializing in neck, back and sports injuries. Apart from running his own practice Javed is also the Head of Physiotherapy at Gillingham Football Club. In the past , Javed has consulted at the London Independent Hospital, has held the position of advisory Physiotherapist for the British Brain and Spine Foundation London Telegraph Marathon Team and occasionally guest lectured at the University of East London. Javed has held the position of Head Physiotherapist at Gillingham Football Club and Watford Football Club, has held the position of specialist clinician at the Medway Hospital and regularly appeared on Invicta Radio offering advice on back problems and sports injuries. Javed is now back as the Head of Physiotherapy at the Gills and continues to offer advice in the local media and carries out seminars for the local community. He has founded the physio's in football education group and is currently lecturing in london on sports medicine post graduate courses.In september 2011, Javed was asked to lecture in Europe in a specialist sports medicine convention.
